How does working with Screensilk begin?
Every project starts with a conversation — either a discovery call or an email exchange, whichever suits you best. We talk through your practice, your audience, what your current site is and isn’t doing, and what you need from a new one. From there we scope the project properly before anything is agreed or committed to.
What does the design process look like?
We work in clear stages — discovery and scoping, design concept, build, content integration, and launch. You receive a milestone schedule at the outset so you know exactly what happens when and what’s needed from you at each stage. The process is collaborative but we lead it, so it doesn’t become another thing on your plate.
What's expected of me as a client?
Primarily: your content. Photography, copy, and any existing brand assets need to come from you, and the quality of those directly shapes the quality of the finished site. We’ll tell you exactly what we need and when. Beyond that, timely feedback at each milestone keeps the project moving — most delays come from the client side rather than ours, so responsiveness matters.
Do you offer support after the website launches?
Yes. Ongoing support, maintenance, and updates are discussed as part of every project. We talk through your requirements and put together a plan that suits how your practice actually operates — whether that’s ad hoc updates, regular maintenance, or something more involved.
