Built in WordPress with WooCommerce, it was robust and familiar, but increasingly limited in how it presented the work and supported future ambitions. As her collections evolved, the site needed to become more fluid, expressive, and aligned with her current brand.

After ten years of collaboration, the brief was rooted in trust. Disa wanted a site that retained the clarity and reliability of her existing shop, while introducing a more refined visual language and a smoother, more immersive experience for visitors.

We began by reviewing the structure and performance of the existing site, alongside Disa’s latest collections, photography, and printed materials. The goal was not to disrupt what already worked, but to rethink how the work could be encountered online with greater ease and elegance.

Screensilk redeveloped the site as a fully bespoke Shopify build, designed to balance clarity with expression. Motion and animation were introduced carefully, adding depth and pacing without distracting from the jewellery itself.
Product presentation was refined to feel calm and confident, while the underlying structure was simplified to improve usability, performance, and long-term maintenance. The result is a shop that feels contemporary and considered, while remaining intuitive for both client and customer.
